Tonneau For Snow

datePosted on 00:00, January 1st, 2009 by Brian Fuller

Well it is the New Year and boy oh boy it is snowing hard. They are calling for 40 centimeters. That with up to 100 KM’s wind. That could make for some pretty big piles. At times like this you would be glad to have a tonneau for snow. That is to say a tonneau cover to keep the snow out of your truck box. Especially if you have a few items in there that you use for work or whatever else, such as your fold up ice fishing hut.

Keep your truck box dry and snow free, by slapping a tonneau cover on it. You will be a much happier truck owner for it. There are many different types to choose from. It really depends on your needs. A quick guide to use would be, if you only use your truck box for loads that are under your truck side rails and you want good security a fiberglass tonneau would suit your needs. If you use your truck box often, don’t carry high type cargo and want something that is economical a soft hinged tonneau cover would be great. If you are using your truck box often and need fast easy access to your truck bed plus use it for higher cargo loads sometimes, a soft inexpensive folding tonneau cover or a hard folding tonneau may suit your needs.

If you would like the ability to access your truck bed without touching it, you should check out the Bedlocker electric or Roll-n-Lock electric tonneau cover. They use a wireless remote to open the truck cover electrically. That could come in real handy if your truck happens to be high off the ground or you want to open it with your arms full. Maybe you want a great toy that will get peoples attention.

Whatever you decide you be thankfull you got a tonneau for snow.
